கரும்பு தோட்டத்துக்கு இடையே கோயில்.

பல்லவர் காலத்தில் கட்டப்பட்ட கோயில் கி.பி 7-8 நூற்றாண்டை சேர்ந்தது. சோழர் மற்றும் கடைக்கால பாண்டியர் காலத்தில் பராமரிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது  என்று இத்திருக்கோயில் கிடைத்த கல்வெட்டில் இருந்து தெரிகிறது. இதன் முற்காலப் பெயர் அறந்தாங்கி நல்லூர் ஆகும்.

2004ஆம் ஆண்டு இடிந்து போய் மண்மேடிட் இருந்த இக்கோவிலில் கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்ட 8ஆம் நூற்றாண்டை சேர்ந்த பைரவர் சிலையும் , 10ஆம் நூற்றாண்டைசேர்ந்த அம்மன் சிலையும், சோழர் காலத்தை சேர்ந்தது என ஆய்வில் தெரிகிறது.

திருகோயில்

திரிசூல கல்வெட்டு:

இங்கு கண்டெடுக்கபட்ட ஒரு கல்வெட்டில் திரிசூலம் பொறிக்கபட்டுள்ளது. ஆறாம் மாற்வர்ம விக்கிரம பாண்டியனின் மந்திரிகளில் ஒருவனான அபிமானதுங்கப் பல்லாவராயன் இக்கோவிலுக்கு அளித்த நன்செய் புன்செய் நிலங்கள் பற்றியும் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டு உள்ளது.

இடிந்துபோன நிலையில் உள்ள இக்கோயில், ஒரு முதியவர் தங்கி கவனித்து வருகிறார். போதிய மக்கள் வருகை இல்லாத கோயில்களில் இதுவும் ஒன்று என பார்த்த உடன் தெரிவது, வருந்த வேண்டிய ஒரு விஷயம்.

இக்கோவில் கடலூரில் இருந்து திருமானிக்குழி வழியாக பண்ரூட்டி செல்லும் வழி தடத்தில் உள்ளது. செல்லும் பொழுது முதியவருக்கு அரிசி, பருப்பு மற்றும் மளிகை பொருட்களும் வாங்கி செல்லுங்கள். முதியவர் சொந்தம் என்று சொல்லும் இரண்டு மூன்று பைரவர்களுக்கு முடிந்தால் பிஸ்கட் வாங்கி செல்லுங்கள்.

அருள்மிகு மரகதவல்லி,மாணிக்கவல்லி சமேத மகாலிங்கேஸ்வரர் திருக்கோயில் ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முற்பட்ட கோயில். The temple stands here for more than 1000 years. 

மகம் நட்சத்திர திருக்கோவில் - மகம் நட்சத்திர நாளில் இங்கு விசேஷ பூஜைகள் நடக்கும். 

The temple belongs to star Magam and special poojas are performed during magam-star day.

பரத்வாஜ மஹரிஷி இங்கு வாழ்ந்ததாக ஐதீகம். அவருடைய சமாதி கோயிலில் முன்பாக உள்ளது. இரு பீடங்களை உள்ள சமாதியை கடந்துதான் கோயில் உள்ளே செல்ல முடியும். இக்கோவிலில் இரண்டு அம்பிகைகள் இருப்பது மிகவும் அபூர்வமான அமைப்பு. இச்சா, கிரியா சக்திகளாக இவர்கள் விளங்குவதாக ஐதீகம். சிவலிங்கத்திற்கு எதிரே பைரவர் "ஆதி பைரவராக" காட்சி அளிக்கின்றார். 

Saint Barathwaj believed to have lived here and his samathi is found in-front of the temple. All devotees should need to cross the two small pillar to enter the temple. There are two goddesses in this temple and believed to be representing Icha & Kiriya shakthis. Such form is very rare. The Bairava in-front of the Sivalinga is called as "Aathi Bairava".

2) ஸ்ரீ ராமரும் , ஆஞ்சநேயரும் தரிசித்த இடம். தனக்கு உதவிய ஆஞ்சநேயரும் உணவு இட்ட இலையை இரண்டாக பிரிக்க , நடுவில் கொடு போட - வாழை இலை பிறந்ததாக நம்பப்படுகிறது. ஸ்ரீ ராமர் சந்தியாவந்தன பூஜைகள் செய்த பாஸ்கரச்சரயு இருத்த இடம் இதுதான் என்று நம்பப்படுகிறது. 

3) அயோத்தியுடன் சூக்கும ரீதியான பூமியடி தொடர்புடைய ஸ்தலம். 

Temple Specialities

1) The first ever "Athi Bairavar" believed to have originated in this place. 

2) Sri Ramar and Anjaneyar have visited this place. In order to give half of the food provided to him to Aanjaneya, he draw a line across the leaf. Since this incident, all banana-leaf got the formation like today and so this place is considered to be the birth place of banana leaf. 

3) Lord ram performed Santhiyavanthana pooja's in the banks of Baskarasarayu - believed to have existed here. 

கோயில் காட்டின் நடுவில் இருப்பது போலத்தான் அமைப்பு இருக்கிறது. கோயிலை சுற்றி சுவர், கோபுர கட்ட முற்பட்ட அனைத்து தருணங்களிலும் தடங்கள் வந்தமையால் அப்படியே விட்டுவிட்டார்கள் என்று கோயில் பூசாரி கூறினார். சிவலிங்கத்தின் இடது முன்புறத்தில் கடந்து இருநூறு ஆண்டுகளில் ஜீவ சமாதி அடைந்த இருவர், மூவரது சமாதிகள் உள்ளன. 

The temple surroundings reminds us of a forest area and situated in a woodland. Many efforts to built walls and gopuras have failed and devotees have stopped taking any efforts. The local priest said it is God's wish to remain the way it is. In front of the Shiva linga, to the left there are few jeeva samathis who attained mukthi in this place.

இறைவன் அருளால் - பெங்களூரு மடிவாளாவில் உள்ள புராதான சோமேஷ்வரா திருக்கோவில் செல்லும் பாக்கியம் இன்று கிட்டியது. பெங்களூரு மாநகரில் மிகவும் பழைய கோயில்களில் இதுவும் ஒன்று. மடிவாளா ஆஞ்சநேயர் சிலையில் இருந்துநடக்கும் தொலைவில் உள்ளது. சோழ அரசர்களால் கட்டப்பட்ட இந்த கோயில் 12ஆம் நூற்றாண்டை சேர்ந்தது. இறைவன் சுயம்பு சிவலிங்கமாக காட்சி தருகிறார்.

The siva temple is one of the oldest temple in Bengaluru. It’s walk able from the Madiwala Anjaneya statue. The Chola rulers built the temple way back in the 12th century. Siva linga in this temple is Suyambu.

ஒடுக்கத்தார் சுவாமிகள் - ஜீவ சமாதி- உல்சூர், பெங்களூரு

யாம் பெற்ற இன்பம் பெருக இவையகம்! என்னை போல், நீங்களும் சென்று வணங்கி - அருள் பெறுங்கள்! ஒம் நமசிவாய !!

Swamigal was born in village caleed Odukathur near Vellore.  Leaving the family in his early years , he wandered in search of God that took him to Kalahasti, Kanchi, Tiruvanikkaval, Chidambaram, Rameshwaram and finally reached Vellore. He spent majority of his life in the forest of Odukathar where he has said to have attained siddi. He was briefly missing after a heavy flood and the local cow boys found him in deep samathi state covered with sand near the river bed. 

சுவாமிகள் வேலூர் அருகே உள்ள ஒடுக்கத்தூரில் பிறந்தவர். சிறு வயதில் கடவுளை தேடி குடும்பத்தை விட்டு வெளியேறிய சுவாமிகள் - காளஹஸ்தி, காஞ்சிபுரம், திருவனைக்காவால், சிதம்பரம், ராமேஷ்வரம் போன்ற புண்ணிய தலங்களுக்கு சென்று கடைசியில்  வேலூர் அருகில் உள்ள ஒடுக்காத்தர் காட்டுப்பகுதில் வந்தடைந்தார். இங்கு பலகாலம் தங்கிய சுவாமிகள் சித்தி நிலை அடைந்ததாக தெரிகிறது. ஒரு முறை பலத்த மழை காரணமாக வெள்ளம் எற்பட, சுவாமிகள் சிலகாலம் காணாமல் போய்விட்டார். மாடு மேய்கும் சிறுவர்கள் இவரை தேட, சமாதி நிலையில் ஆற்றின் கரையில் மணல் மூடிய நிலையில் கண்டு மீட்டனர். 

He spoke very rarely and many times lived only on air without eating or drinking . He came to Bengaluru in the year 1914 and entered Mahasamathi in 1915. 

அதிகம் பேசாத சுவாமிகள் ,உணவோ - நீரோ பருகாமல் பலநாட்கள் வெறும் காற்றை சுவாசித்து உயிர் வாழ்ந்தார். 1914 இல் பெங்களூரு வந்த சுவாமிகள் 1915 இல் மஹாசமாதி அடைந்தார்.

காடுவெளி சித்தரின் ஜீவ சமாதி/Kaduveli Sithar Jeeva Samathi, Kanchipuram - காஞ்சிபுரம்

காடுவெளி சித்தரின் ஜீவ சமாதி - காஞ்சிபுரம் ஏகாம்பரநாதர் கோவில் அருகில் உள்ள அமுதவள்ளி தர்கா அருகில் உள்ளது. இஸ்லாமியசகோதரர்கள் நிறைந்த பகுதியில் மிகவும் ஒதுக்குப்புறமான இடத்தில் போதிய பராமரிப்பு இல்லாமல் இருந்தததை கண்டு மிகவும் வேதனைஅளித்தது. சில நாட்களுக்கு முன்பு அடியேனுக்கு தரிசனம் செய்யும் பாக்கியம் கிட்டியது. காஞ்சிபுர அடியார்கள் இந்த சமாதிக்கு ஒரு சிறிய கோயில் கட்டினால் , பல தலைமுறைகள் வழிப்பட வசதியாக இருக்கும்.

சித்தரின் வரலாறு:

கடுவெளிச்சித்தர் என்பவர் திண்டிவனம் ஆரோவில் அருகில் உள்ள இரும்பை கிராமத்தில், சிவனை எண்ணி தவம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்.அப்போது நாட்டில் சரியாக மழை பெய்யாமல் மக்கள் அனைவரும் வறுமையில் வாடினர். சித்தரின் தவத்தால்தான் நாட்டில் மழை பெய்யவில்லைஎன்று எண்ணிய மன்னன் ஒரு தேவதாசியின் மூலம் அவரது தவத்தைகலைக்கமுயற்சித்தான். தவம் கலைந்து சித்தர், உண்மையை கேட்டு தவத்தைதொடராமல் சிவ பணி செய்ய தொடங்கினார். ஒரு முறை கோயில் விழாவில் சித்தரின் தவத்தை கலைத்த தாசியும் நடனம் அட, அச்சமயம் அவள்காலில் இருந்த சிலம்பு கீழே விழுவததை கண்ட சித்தர் - இதனால் விழாவிற்கு தடங்கள் வந்துவிடுமோ என்ற நல் எண்ணத்தில் சிலம்பை அவளதுகாலில் கட்டி விட்டார். இதை பார்த்து மக்கள் இவரை பற்றி தவறாக பேசி ஏளனம் செய்தனர். மனம் நொந்துபோன சித்தர், சிவனை நோக்கி பாட கோயிலில் இருந்த சிவா லிங்கம் மூன்றாக வெடித்தது. தவறை உணர்ந்த் மக்களும் மன்னனும் மன்னிப்பு கேட்டார்கள். மீண்டும் சிவனை நோக்கிபாட, உடைந்த பாகங்கள் ஒன்று சேர்ந்தன.

Kaduveli Sithar Samathi, Kanchipuram - is located near Kanchi Ekambaranathar temple. Few meters from the temple is the Amudhavalli Dharga - stone throw away from the dharga is where the Jeeva Samathi located. The Jeeva samathi lacked basic structure or pathway and I pray that Kanchi Sivan adiyargal will come forward to renovate the place and save it for the future generation.

Kaduveli Sithar was doing penance in Irumbai village near Tindivanam/Auroville. During that time people were suffering from severe drought. The king thought the rain had failed due to the Siddhars penance and decided to sent a devadasi to stop his penance. Disturbed , he stopped his penance and opened his eyes. After knowing the reason for the act, he decided not to continue his penance. He devoted himself to the service of the Lord. One day during the temple festival, the devadasi who disturbed his penance was dancing before the procession and her  anket fell down. Sithar did not want this incident to disturb/stop the procession, immediately picked and fixed it to her leg again. Seeing his act the people started mocking at the Sithar. Angered by the act -Sithar sang song in praise of lord who decided to show his devotion & dedication to all the people. The Siva Linga in the temple split into three. Realising their mistake , the King and his people apologised. The Sithar sang again and to everyones surprise the split part joined again.
